The ABC's with ACE and CHRISTI Learning To Read Program
This is the most exciting year of any child’s schooling career. It’s the miracle year of the SOT Educational System, as learners experience the joy of learning to read.
The Accelerated Christian Eucation Emphasizes Reading Mastery
“Visual Learning is one of the many strong suits of the A.C.E. program, and throughout the curriculum there is an emphasis on reading mastery.
Reading is fundamental to a child’s ability to learn new information, and proficiency in this skill is foundational in all other subjects. Even with the emphasis on electronic learning and the abundant use of computers, a child still needs the basic skill of being able to READ.”
ACE Accelerator
PACE (Packets of Accelerated Christian Education) is a School of Tomorrow Work texts.
Each pace is more or less equivalent to a unit of 12 PACEs in each subject. PACEs integrate Character building lessons into the academic content and are carefully designed to develop thinking skills and create mastery learning.
Each PACE contains Checkups which are mini-tests covering a section of the PACE. Upon completion of the activities and Checkups, students prepare to take the Self Test, a practice test. Here students evaluate themselves to determine readiness for the PACE Test. The Pace Test objectively measures student mastery of the material.
With Readmaster+, the School of Tomorrow’s Computerized Reading Program, students in all grade levels can improve their reading rate and comprehension and thoroughly enjoy themselves in the process.
Students categorized as Advanced Learners (Gifted), Slow Learners (Tutored) and Foreign Students. DLC is also open to non-GCC students who would like to take Enrichment Lessons—to strengthen them on subject areas where they are weak; and the Advance Lessons—to allow them to go beyond their regular curriculum level.
